Why do we need your personal data?

What personal data is collected?


All our activities are based on stringent ethical principles and legal requirements, and we are committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors to our websites. For this reason, the way in which we collect and store information, including personal data, is dependent on how our website and related services are used. The criteria we base ourselves on when determining the ‘necessary’ duration depends on the category of personal data. We may also retain your personal data to defend ourselves against civil claims which may be brought against us, for a period equivalent to the prescriptive period for such action.

 Where it is no longer ‘necessary’ to retain the personal data, we will securely delete such data.

The right to amend and/or delete your personal data

For all other types of messages you may receive from us, such as maintenance announcements or administrational notifications, the receipt of such can only be terminated by deleting your account. We do not collect personal data of a person under the age of eighteen (18) years. If we find that we have accidentally collected personally identifiable information from a person under the age of eighteen (18), such information will be removed immediately from our records. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), contact us through your parent or guardian because we can not collect and use your personally identifiable information without the express consent of your parent or guardian.

Lodging a Complaint

You may lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner as data protection supervisory authority in Malta if you deem it necessary to do so.
